First Aid Training at Wolvey Village Hall

We are pleased to say that on Friday 11th October 2024 Alison at First Safety Training Services provided some very useful training to members of the committee and other volunteers with the Hall. The training covered a wide range of skills including bandaging, CPR and the recovery position and we were delighted to have them give up their time to increase our skills.

(Also, we can confirm that no training dummies were injured!)

Goodbye to Bob!

The hall has been very lucky to have Bob Hilliard as one of its most dedicated and hard-working volunteers. Bob joined the Committee in 2019 as Treasurer and was instrumental in converting us to a CIO when he became a Trustee. We thank him for all his hard work over the last 5 years. On top of managing the bookings calendar and a multitude of other things, he has brought us up to date with modern technology at the Hall. Getting us online with bank accounts, emails, bookings, website and Facebook so our presence can be seen by more people. He has always been readily available to show people round the Hall or resolve any issues that arise. Sadly for us, 4th October 2024 was Bob's last dayas a volunteer with the hall.

We wish you all the best. Enjoy your travels, Bob!
